Answer

Hi there! Welcome to Ask Alex.

First, thank you so much for reaching out and sharing your feelings. It takes a lot of courage to open up about something so personal, and it’s important that you know you’re not alone in this.

It sounds like you’re under a lot of stress and anxiety, and it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed, especially when dealing with a secret relationship. Have you thought about why you might feel bad about this relationship? Sometimes our feelings are trying to tell us something important, and it’s good to listen to them.

One thing to consider is the nature of your relationship with your teacher. Teachers have a duty of care towards their students, meaning they are responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for you to learn and grow. When boundaries are crossed, it can complicate things and create feelings of guilt or confusion.

The secrecy of the relationship might also be contributing to your anxiety. Keeping such a significant part of your life hidden can be very stressful and isolating. Relationships should make you feel good and secure, not stressed and anxious. It’s important to reflect on whether this relationship is truly in your best interest.
